Book manufacturing error. What to do about a book with pages uncut/unseparated at the bottom? by nelson family
I have a book that has rough cut pages on two edges (side and bottom). The tops of the pages are smoothly/uniformly cut. The real dilemma is a manufacturing error at the bottom of the pages. Nearly every other set of adjoining pages have never been separated/cut apart, so you can't pull them apart...

Bizarre Books by John Yamamoto-Wilson
This arises from Alfred Armstrong's "Frank Nimrod" posting, and is a repost of a posting of mine from a couple of years ago, which led to quite a lively and informative thread (http://tinyurl.com/nlwc). I don't know if Alfred saw the thread the first time round, but I'd love to hear his - or...

Uncut, untrimmed? by Robin ****
Hi everyone. I just read the post about the uncut and unopened books. I put a book up on auction today(the world court 1926) that has some uneven edges. The top and bottoms are smooth but the sides are uneven and are more yellow. Can I put in my description that it is an untrimmed or uncut book?...

Book title help request by John Sullivan
In 1959 I read a book while in sick quarters at RAF Bridgnorth, and I would love to acquire a copy. All I can recall is that it was about the author's rough shooting experiences. Most of his shooting was done in an area on the Hants/Wilts borders in UK, in an area of clear fast-flowing streams and...

Baseball and Books by Rick Kalamaya
I have a nice first of "Shoeless Joe" by Kinsella, one of the prizes of my baseball collection. And I managed to get Mr. Kinsella to sign it a few years ago. But, unfortunately, the book has a price-clipped DJ. How much do you think this diminishes the value? Otherwise the book is in fine...
