Behind this rather spacy, moody pastel "view of the zoo"
by Fermin Eguia, an Argentinian, lies a very bizarre and
captivating artist.

It's a pity wiki has nothing on him, I find him strangely captivating
apart from a few small images on the web, and a Youtube

Blair (TC)
Last year, a special spoof stamp was created for April 1 by a
Scarborough (Yorkshire, UK) collector.
Christopher Phillips, secretary of the Scarborough Philatelic Society,
designed the one-off “junk mail” stamp to remind people to place
unwanted mail in the wastepaper basket and not be “fooled”...

Hello Group:
I have been a "STAMP COLLECTOR" or ages, or can I say since 1955 with
a small book and plenty of stamps. Now I am 61 years old and I ask
myself if I am a STAMP COLLECTOR or STAMP ACCUMULATOR. I have my
interests of my small collection and read this group almost every day
and marvel...

Duplex canceller 1878. by
rodney
From the book "Stamp of Australia" 2009 Kelly Burke
I think this is a duplex canceller.
Is there evidence anywhere on the internet
regarding these?
I would like to know just how they worked.
Where is the strike head?

different FDC publishers. Some criticized his work as being garish, but
today he is considered one of the great cachet artists of all time. Design
