(RCSD) Saar cataloguing help needed by
Stan Fairchild[_3_]
Recently found two different pairs of stamps with printing flaws that might be described in Michel Saar-Spezial-Katalog
2002. I’m looking for help in deciding which of each pair is really the flaw. (There even is the possibility that
neither one is the flaw Michel is describing.)
The two pairs...

Blair (TC)
Recently, the New Zealand $2 Peter Snell stamp (2004)
was discovered with an "inverted centre".

I understand that a sheet of 16 stamps has been discovered,
by a collector, and is to be put on the market. Does anyone
here have any idea...

Plate blocks by
Steve Grant
I've recently come into a small (30-40 blocks) collection of USA MNH
plate blocks from the late 50s and early 60s. What should I do with
them?
a) use them for postage;
b) sneak them into a stamp show and "accidentally" leave them on a
random dealer's table;
c) burn them;
d) other

The aim, according to its Magazine, 'The War Cry", was "to
carry the Blood of Christ and the Fire of the Holy Ghost into

since the Salvation Army was formed.
Although given its name in 1878 it had started thirteen...

(RCSD) Machin question by
Ralphael1
Looking in my Machin menagrie I noticed the mint stamps with back
print are fading, Is this to be expected?
I know the back print was applied on top of the gum and did not
realize fading would be a factor.
The "D" is much worse than the stars.
Ralphael, the OLD one.

IDLE THOUGHTS OF AN IDLE FELLOW
I recently spent the night with an old friend whom I hadn't seen

matrimonial difficulties and gone to live in a remote part of the
country. When...

Soaking Stamps. by

IIRC I read recently, when Tracy was discussing soaking stamps,
Ralphael's retort was never to use tongs when soaking.
I am looking at the cover of SG Scandinavian Catalogue
and on the cover it shows a 4kr stockholmia86 issue
with a lad soaking a stamp with tongs.
Isn't this exactly, how not to...
