buying SILVER ROUNDS.... from WHO and WHERE by
howard
Any advice would be appreciated.
My thoughts are to BUY American Silver Eagles.
I would like to get the actual product instead of them being held for me at
a "repository".
I currently have some Lechter rounds of silver and would trade (privately)
for ASE's.
thanks for your input,,,,,,as...

China Gold Panda, brown/red spots by
jondo220
I've seen some China Gold Panda bullion coins with brown/red spots on
them.
Is this due to poor quality of the Chinese coin manufacture?
Didn't think this would happen on pure .999 gold coins, never saw on
any other gold bullion coins.
I have seen and heard about it on 90% gold coins like Mexico...

Double die 1871 two cent piece? by
Cinder6
I have an 1871 two cent piece that looks like it has a double die error
on the reverse side on the words "UNITED STATES" and the 'O' of "OF".
It seems most visible on the 'U' and the 'D'. Has anyone heard of a
double die of this date? PCGS doesn't seem to have record of one, but
I thought I would...

This smaller regional show this past weekend featured 50 dealers with Friday

Tantalus database of U.S, World & Ancient coins.... by
Joe Winnett
The Tantalus database has now passed the 12,000 coins listed mark. The
majority of the coins are ancient, but there is a rapidly growing section of
U.S. coinage (nearly 1000 entries) and World coinage (several hundred
entries). Obviously, as more collectors list their coins the database...

A thank you to Larry and a CONTEST by
George D
Larry thank you for again running the RCC swap. I received my gift for being the 29th
entry and do appreciate it. Larry had a surplus of new square one cent holders and sent
them to 3 entries in the swap. However I currently have enough one cent holders and I
would like to pass them on to other RCC...

FA: a truely EXCEPTIONAL 1909-S VDB PCGS MS-65 Rd in old green holder by
Ira Stein
This one has the look of a MS-66 and is one of the nicest MS-65
examples of this date I've ever seen. Been in a safe deposit box since
about 1991 and is fully original in every way.
See it at:
