$500 (I wrote to the Treasury Secretary again) by
Malanutt 4 Life
I wrote Secretary Snow on the issue of redesigning the $1, $2, $5, and $10
bills (since there hasn't been a decission to redesign the $5 and $10 bills to
conform the NexGen series yet) and redesigning and reissuing the $500 bill. I
will probably just get a form letter, but I figured I would try...

Frank and Reid quoted in COINage article on eBay fakes by
Frank Provasek
Reid Goldsborough and I, along with Barry Stuppler and several other
collectors and dealers, were quoted in an excellent three-page article
on Ebay fakes on page 46 of the July 2009 issue of COINage. In
addition, I supplied six photos to COINage, including two used on the
cover, of unmarked fakes...

Contest Alert: The 'I Have Too Many Slabs' Contest by
Stujoe
I suddenly find myself having more slabs - PCI, SEGS, ICG, ANACS, PCGS,
and the shattered remains of a couple of NGCs - than at any other time
in my life. Since I need to run a contest, I decided to pass one of them
on to a lucky winner here.
It is a Silver, Brilliant Proof, FSNC #1838, Original...

Euro coins crossing borders? by
Serenus Zeitblom
I recall that before the Euro was introduced, there
was much speculation about how many coins would cross
borders. From what I hear from friends in Europe, this
seems to be happening a lot less than expected, except
in places like Paris and Venice where the reason is obvious.
A friend in Italy...

You know you're an RCCer when... by
Scottishmoney
1. You've been blocked from bidding on AH-Collectibles auctions on eBay.
2. You've been called "Dumb&$$" by that childish wunderkind ftecaw.
3. You have a killfile, and a columnist from a Philadelphia newsrag is in
it.
4. On the other end of the auction forum, you would kill for one of...

Cancelled my PCGS membership by
H. Craig Hamling
On 2-8-04 I renewed my PCGS membership with a Platinum Club upgrade.
My membership package (including my MS-69 silver eagle) had not yet
shipped as of today. When I called a week ago they told me my order
was in the system twice but had not shipped and that they would call
me back. They never...

Christmas in February! by
The Fausts
Today, the charity known as "Save Eric's Coin Collection" received not one,
but three, very generous donations!
Big thanks to Alan and Cliff for the extremely generous packages they sent!
From Alan I received a quartet of cents that have seen little handling: a
1905 Indian, a 1967 Canadian, and...

eBay: No More Retaliatory Feedback From Sellers by
Phil DeMayo
eBay has just announced a myriad of changes too numerous to list here
(I've included a link to the announcement below).
One of the most significant changes (for buyers) stems from the fact
that eBay has discovered that sellers leave negative feedback 8 times
more frequently than buyers. They...

WTC Commems, huh? by
Nick Charles
Boy! ... Talk about the shameless exploitation of staged tragedies,
this is the first time I've ever run across an example quite like
this!
No, it isn't the Coin Vault "proudly" offering pieces of the Binion
hoard this time, it's another home shopping network doing the same
thing with coins sifted...

Why has Frank Provasek Been Suspended From eBay So Many Times? by
Mr. Mystery
The buying public should be aware that Frank Provasek has, by his own
admission, been suspended and had his auctions terminated multiple times
by eBay .
He goes under the name FRANKCOINS.
Provasek blames numerous "vindictive" individuals for his repeated and
sometimes lengthy suspensions from...

There's a rumor going around that the Ronald Reagan Dime Act will be
changed to the Ronald Reagan Dollar Act.
Apparently since the Susan B. Anthony and Sacagawea dollars were
complete flops because they can be confused for quarters by the
