My father is collecting Morgans from the shopping channels by
S.D.
How can I convince him this is not a good idea? That he's paying way too much.
He wants to buy ALL of them. He says they're all MS69 or 70, so, "How can I go
wrong? They're even in plastic cases." He's in his 70'2 and recently inherited
a lot of money. Six figures.
I need to know how to attack his...

currently have 2 active and 2 semi active sub-collections I am working on.
On the semi active front there is the birth year set of world coins. I add

Accolades To Brent-Krueger by
MIckey
Several months ago I bought a batch of square coin tubes from
Brent-Krueger. Months later I found a few of the nickel tubes that
weren't molded properly and had narrow areas inside the tube, thus
nickels would not lay straight. A simple phone call, got me
replacement tubes in the mail today, no...

Shield Nickel Question by
Larry Louks
Hi Folks,
I recently purchased an 1866 Shield nickel in an auction. (It has the rays
on the reverse.) In looking closely at it this morning, I note that the "1"
and the last "6" of the date are both larger than the "86" that is between
them. I see mention in the Red Book of a "repunched date" of...

roll of coin for any rolls above 4 accepted for deposit. He said that
he wouldn't charge me the fees this time... I felt sooo lucky :p
I wouldn't want to name...

FA: one ounce Krugerrand at UrBid Auction by

Man, I don't know how anyone sells gold bullion at eBay.
I am listing at UrBid because Andy charges no listing fee or commissions,
which would cost me over $10 at eBay. I am listing at UrBid with a $350
minimum, no reserve. SH&I is tricky business, and I am trying to be legal
and not have to...
