Looking for a Seller of "Iridium Point Germany" Nibs by eb
I have some nice fountain pens, including a Parker Inflection and a Waterman Elite II and Phileas. For the heck of it, I bought 2 knockoff fountain pens for a couple of bucks each on ebay, one a Waterman style and one a Mont Blanc style. The pens look pretty nice, but the nibs, "Iridium Point...

Waterman Pens For Sale by Stan Klemanowicz
The following pens by Waterman are for sale. I've attached links to pictures taken by my feeble camcorder. Laugh if you will. Scratch your head, etc. but, it's all I've got. Besides, most of you know what this stuff looks like anyway. Pictures can be linked by clicking on URL beneath each...

While surfing the Web I ran across this interesting story: HELD FOR ATTACKING WITH FOUNTAIN PEN Frank Sawallich, 27, Monday was held on a charge of assault to do great bodily harm. Walter Reedy 22, who preferred the charge, said Sawallich attacked him with a fountain pen and stabbed him three...

Next Mont Blanc? by Ed[_6_]
I finally purchased a Mont Blanc after all these years of trying other pens. In my opinion, it really is something special. I got the Chopin model. Now I am thinking of getting another one later this year. Any suggestions? I want to keep the price out of the stratosphere, but would be willing...

Dear friends, we are obliged by recent events to send out this announcement to all users of Enter Net to remind you of a critical step in the purchasing process. Lately, it seems auction winners appear to be "forgetting" to send back the required confirmation notice sent to them immediately upon...

Pen advice needed.. by Rainy
Hi, I want to get a nice new fountain pen. I've used lamy safari before but then someone " borrowed " it. Last few years I've used Rotring Core and I like it well enough. I like the fact that it has a better ink flow than lamy but I liked lamy for having a more flexible nib. Generally speaking I...

What's your favorite erasable ink pen (or liquid pencil)? by Jeff
Hi group. I hope this is an appropriate group for this question, but I need a good, erasable pen. You can't write quickly (like when you have to take notes in class) using a pencil. And you can't erase pen - therefore you can't do math in pen. I bought an "liquid" pencil (or something) at the...

remove pelikan nib from unit by Garglemonster
How do i remove the nib from a Pelikan nib/feed unit? A previous post to this group suggests that i slide the steel ring off first, but that ring is pretty tight. Thanks in advance! -- Why is a vegetable something to hide?

Da Book by Michael Oates
Hi, As a newbie to both this group and pens I keep seeing 'Da Book' mentioned as almost a bible on this and another groups. Can some one tell me what the real title is and the author so I can have a look? Thanks, Mike

Rotring Core discontinued and replaced by Rotring Skin by Nancy Handy
At Kate's Paperie today, the pen counter salesperson told me that the Rotring Core was discontinued. I saw the Rotring Skin - it's ugly (even uglier than the Core) and has the Sensa-type grip, but it writes well. I don't recall what the Rotring Core cost, but the Rotring Skin retails at about $20....

Hello Everyone, Been following acpp for a while & thought this group was pretty much dead until I noticed some recent activity. Three things then. 1.) I'm hoping "Roll Call" (replies to this topic) might answer how many people are still here if I have questions. (Mr. Ketterling has a point...

light fast but washable ink ? by no spam
Hi, I am looking for a fountain pen ink that would be "light fast", I mean that wouldn't fade, even exposed to bright sun for a prolonged amount of time. I don't want a waterproof ink, on the contrary, I'd like it to be somewhat washable so that the paper can be recycled with less effort. In...
