Oh C'mon People.... by
Jim
Have the Pretentious Pods touched down on earth again and whisked all to their
lair?
We have been graced with an amusing/funny/laugh riot/howling cartoon this AM
and not a soul will comment.
Everyone's waiting for the next guy to make a move and until then, not even a
squeak.
I guess I forgot to...

Friendly Christos? by
Mike from Finland
Greetings again friends,
I am getting desperate to hear from Apostolidis Christos - it has been
almost a year I last heard from "Friendly". If anyone is in touch with him,
I would be most grateful if you could ask him to contact me as soon as
possible! Better yet, could anyone give me his new...

Money Laundering:) by
Ami .
I recently purchased a 25-piece lot of circulated Kennedy halves for a
piggy bank treasure trove that I'm starting.
One of the halves in the lot, a 1966, was really dull and had a very
brassy brownish tint. I really like Kennedy halves, but this was the
first one I've seen that was this...

Milk Spots on SAE's by
Paul
I took out my Dansco SAE album and looked at my UNC SAE's. A few had milk
spots I hadn't noticed before, and the spots are starting to interfere with
the beauty of the coin.
Will putting in an Intercept Shield Page help this? What can I do at this
stage?
Paul

what are the front cover dimensions of the old whitman coin folders? by
catgod119
Hello all. I am helping a friend deal with an old family coin
collection. We have to move a bunch of old coin books to a new safe
deposit box. What I need to find out is the size (the front cover
length and width) of those old blue Whitman coin folders and books. He
has a bunch of them purchased...

hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any advice about where to start as a coin
collector?
I always kept coins as a child but recently found my interest returning. I
would like to learn more about the history of coins, as well as just what to
look out for etc...
Any websites, or books?
Regards

1766 William Pitt coin by
Rodbender
does anyone know anything about this coin? I found it in my Dad's
collection and I can't seem to find it on any of the coin collecting
websites. Is it rare? I did find info on one website and that's how I
found out the name of it, but it didn't give me anything other than the
origin of the coin.

Bust Half With Planchet Flaw by
Harvey Bastacky
I picked up an 1831 capped bust half dollar VF
with a planchet flaw on the bottom of the reverse
going from the rim through part of 50C and the
lowest olive leaves.
Are these worth any premiums????
E-mail me personally for photos.

The obverse of the Sacagawea dollar shows the Native American woman
Sacagawea and her child. How many other U. S. coins have a mother and child
on them?

My Late Dads Coins by
[email protected]
My dad passed away and didn't leave a lot, but he had all kinds of
coins and my two sisters and I have no idea what to do with them.
These go back to 1863 pennies, to tons of mercury dimes, buffalo
nickles, etc. Nothing in mint shape (at least not the really old ones)
but most have clear text and...

Sacagawea From Sandwich Shop by
Ami .
Last night, I purchased a submarine sandwich from Cousin's Subs. This
morning when I emptied my pockets of change before doing laundry, I
discovered a Sacagawea dollar in the pocket of the pants I had worn to
the sandwich shop.
It's a well-worn 2000 D Sackie with most of its "golden" color...
