2003 Silver Proof Set by Steve Joyce
Well, the reason I asked is because the other items I ordered did not show up as backordered. Thanks for the reply by the way. It seems to be hit and miss in this group as to whether anyone will answer your posts.

2002 Ohio State Quarter by Richard Olivier
Has anyone seen or heard of this coin having an error? I have an opportunity to buy this coin that is missing the last digit "2" in the year 2002. Upon close inspection under a magnifying glass you can see the faintest image of the "2", the number is totally flat compared to the raised zero next to...

State Quarters - bank roll vs mint roll by LDRS HBBY NUMI
I agree. I collect the Unc State Quarters by the roll but not truly for investment purposes. I enjoy doing it and I hope to sell the 40 sets in the future and my goal is to break even :-) Then I will use that money to buy something interesting. It is my savings account that I get to enjoy in...

Olive Oil and Green Verdigris works, but ow to get oil off the coin afterward??? by The Numismasochist
Tried olive oil on some of that green verdigris. Soaked it 15 minutes. Light rubbing with cue tip got the green off, of course the wound where it attacked it is still there. Its difficult to get all traces of the olive oil off the coin. Is the light coating of oil going to hurt putting this coin...
