Tech: Wiring a remote box by
Ace
I intend to buy a jukebox with remote selector capability. I haven't
decided on which genre of Seeburg I want (161,222,or something from the
60's/70's).
At the same time, I am finishing my basement, and want to pre-wire for the
remote box. Can I get by with using a 6-wire generic cable, or do I...

Tube question for Seeburg SHFA1 amp by
Ace
I'm in the early stages of getting my 220 to come back to life. When I
turn it on, I notice the bottom four 12ax7 tubes don't light. They're
supposed to light up, like the rest, correct?
I'm not getting any sound from the amp, other than when I put it on
Test and I get the feedback.
Is the Test...

Tech: Seeburg Mech: after the cleaning by
Ace
I took the plunge and cleaned my 220 mech. using the cleaner others
have posted on (Westley blech white). I was hesitant to use it, since
the warning label said not to use it on aluminum or magnesium. It
worked great.
I spent about 30 min. blowing it dry with comp. air. I oiled / lubed
it per...

TECH: preparing Seeburg Mechanism for cleaning by
Ace
Hi all. I've googled several threads on cleaning the mechanism with
water and a de-greaser. Sounds straightforward, except the part about
"covering the motor"... How do you cover it when it's sitting inside
of the unit? I'm having trouble visualizing how I could put plastic
around it. Also,...

Seeburg 220 / 222 information and stuff by
Ace
I'm new at jukeboxes, but I've started a website for the 220 / 222
jukes. Come take a look!
http://www.seeburg+++++++220.com remove the plus signs when you
type it in. This helps me avoid bots, etc.

Correct Seeburg Wall box by
Ace
To my understanding, the 3WA was used for the 222. I have a 220. Was the
3W1 used for it? I have only been able to answer the 222 question, and
haven't found any literature on the 220 wallbox. Thanks - Ace

WTB: Seeburg 161, 201, 222 or 220 by
Ace
I am looking for a 161, 201, 222, or a 220 that works, but isn't necessarily
mint. In fact, I'd rather not have a mint machine ($), but I don't want a
complete basket case, either. Maybe a grade 2 or 3? Prefer a machine
within 500 miles of Washington DC.
Thanks - Ace

WTB: Seeburg 161, 222, 220 by
Ace
I'm looking for a 161, 201, 222 or 220 that is in fair-good condition.
Prefer within a 500 miles radius of Washington D.C. so I can pick it up
myself, but will consider a shipper for farther locations.
Sorry if this is a redundant post: I posted yesterday, but never got it in
my list.
You can...

Seeburg Wallbox Question by
Ace
Can you hook up a 3W1 wallbox to a jukebox that has 160 selections (like the
161 eg.) ?
I know Seeburg made a wallbox that had an extra row of letters for the 160
play models, but they don't seem to be as readily available as the regular
100 seleciton wallboxes.
Thanks - Ace

Tech: typical power usage by
Ace
I'm constructing a game room in my home, and was wondering what the typical
amperage draw is on a Seeburg from the 50's. Maybe like an HR, 161, 222,
etc. Just a ballpark # will help, as I am trying to divvy up the wall
outlets and want to balance the room out.
Thank you.

Tech ? : Seeburg needles by
Ace
Being a new Seeburg owner, what's the difference between the Seeburg
SAPPHIRE (blue) T-needles, and the GRAY T-needles ? I haven't been able to
find any reference in my manuals for my 220 on which pair I should use?
Thanks - Ace

Need some parts re-chromed by
Ace
Can someone recommend a shop that does re-chroming of jukebox parts? I have
a 220 that needs the speaker frames re-chromed. Also, the metal triangular
pieces that surround the speaker have a vinyl cord-like trim material or
gasket that surrounds them and I need to replace them- any ideas? ...

Hello,
I am new to this group and hoping someone can give me some assistance
on a 1952 Seeburg M100C that I have recently acquired that seems to
have been damaged in transit. It was sold to me as in restored and
perfectly working condition (supposedly) and I had it shipped to a
trade show booth...

troubleshooting a 59 Wurlitzer. by

I have a 59 Wurlitzer Juke that has worked perfectly in my home for
about five years. I had not played it in a while, probably a few
months because I'd been traveling a lot and now it has a problem. It
will load the record just fine, needle comes over and basically as
soon as it makes contact...
