Day to day pen opinions by Jimmy
Hello everyone. Anyone at home here? ;) What do you like every day as a cheap, good fountain pen that doesn't need to be insured, or carried around in cottonwool by a team of hired guards? I was pleasantly surprised by the Sailor 1911 "Profit" 14K range. The medium one, more like a European...

Who is good at Waterman Repairs? by Jay W. Cochrane
Hello all, I recently purchased a Waterman set on Flea Bay. The set consisted of a fountain pen and a mechanical pencil. The fountain pen is beautiful and has a nice nib, but the lever is broken. The barrel looks OK, and the small gold box it sits in are intact, but the end of the lever is...

Special Reserve Ink by Recife
Has anyone ever experience systematic ink flow problems with Special Reserve ink, having to rinse the tip of the nib with water to get the pen to start after a day or two?

white leads for mechanical pencils? by richms
Do these exist at all? I cant seem to find anything in 0.5 or 0.7, best I have being able to do is a somewhat greaselike staedtler lumocolor which has a fat lead on it. I can find other colours, but they are all pretty dark, not a suitable replacement for a good opaque white coloured pencil.

what kind of ink would make this clog? by Matthew[_2_]
Today I recieved part of an order from pear tree pens, a sampler pack of diamine inks. I tried the jade green and it came out looking like pond scum. I had flushed the snorkel after intially testing it with black pilot ink...so I figured I did not flush it properly. I do remember the snorkel...
