Ronald Reagan Dollar by
Unfounded Rumors
There's a rumor going around that the Ronald Reagan Dime Act will be
changed to the Ronald Reagan Dollar Act.
Apparently since the Susan B. Anthony and Sacagawea dollars were
complete flops because they can be confused for quarters by the
sighted(Susan B. Anthony) and confused for quarters by...

What subject or design will be on the reverse side of the 2005 Reagan dime?
(failing to resist troll:)
Bonzo comes to mind.

Capitola Flour Token by
Cliff
Being from Georgia, and growing up in the 50's I have a particular
place in my heart for Capitola Flour Tokens. My Grandmother would
always give me the little white envelope with the "good for 5 cents in
trade" token when she opened a new 5 pound bag of Capitola Flour (not
sure how they could...

Montenegro Independent?! by
Adolf Glitter
What’s the point of that? It already uses the Euro, so it’s not as if I’m
going to get another kingfin coin set out of it, is it? At least Macedonia,
Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia each produced a beautiful coin set, so the
thousands of women and children who were used as stick- pigs didn’t die...

Ira has been served! by
Ira Stein
I am so delighted! I was afraid that somehow I had missed service on the
Accugrade lawsuit against the 46 defendants who it is claimed have defamed his
worthy company and called his wife names. In all candor, I WANTED to be served.
It is my fervent hope that this suit will go to trial and that...

Las Vegas and Golden Dollars by
Fred Shecter
I just got off the phone with the new Monorail folks. The fare machines will indeed give
dollar coins (GDs and/or SBAs) in change as well as accept them. "They are the latest
machines that everyone else is using, including BART".
I didn't even know that BART used dollar coins. Perhaps they are...

The Franklin Mint...bad news (FYI) by
MWelbornjr
Yesterday at NOON the Franklin Mint closed its doors for good. They blame
everything under the sun but the management killed the company. Other
collectible companies are proserping having copied the FM system.

CSN problem and coin worth by
Mike S.
I'm asking this for my uncle.
Are the coins at www.shopcsntv.com (Cable Shopping Network) a scam or
something? Are they (mostly the state quarters) worth the price listed?
My uncle purchased some of the coins from the website and he received
them in damaged condition. They had big nicks in them,...

Hear Ye! Contest! by
Chrysta Wilson
In honor of the generosity I have received from RCCers of late, I am
holding a contest. Nothing overly spectacular, but certainly worth more
than the winner will pay! ;o)
The prize is an EFish 1893 Columbian Exposition half. No major problems,
looks like a little bit of a rim ding, dark toning....

Toonie Slide (Canadian strip clubs) by
Barney
In Canada, strippers accept loonie & toonie (1 & 2 dollar coin) tips.
Usually the guy will hold it in his mouth and she'll grab it out be
squeezing her breasts on it.
Other times they'll just wiggle their boobs in their face or something then
just take it with their hand..
I once read how a a...
