please help with this coin (medieval Bulgarian) by
Tomi
I obtained this Bulgarian coin in the local coin
auction a few days ago.
It's about 20 mm in diameter and weighs 1.39 grams.
The description says it was issued by Asen I during
his reign (1186-1197). I have my doubts about
that. I have done quite a few searches with google
and is looks that this...

Mixed Quarters bag by
Tom
How come it took so long for this item to sell out?
From just looking at the greysheet the coins in this
bag were worth more than its price. Each bag
contained about $4 of S Carolina quarters which are
worth more than $10. It also contains a dollars
worth of Delaware and Pennsylvania quarters...

Newbie: How do I get a coined graded? by
[email protected]
I looked through past postings in this newsgroup and did not find any
posts that would help.
My 89-year old uncle recently passed away. While cleaning out his
apartment, I ran across a 1910 US $20 gold coin. It's encased in
plastic (removable via little screws in the corners) that's...

PCGS to ANACS x-overs: 50% by
Bob Flaminio
I'm nearing completion of my ANACS MS69 modern commemorative set, and to
fill out the few remaining spots I'm crossing PCGS 69s into ANACS
holders. Well, attempting to cross, anyway. I'm only running about a 50%
success rate. Here's my latest submission:

E-bay Wisconsin madness. by
bri
I was searching around on E-bay and I could not believe the bidding volume
for anything with the word "Wisconsin" on the page.
I seen one guy who had a P, D and S Wisconsin getting over 600 hits on his
counter.
Rolls of mint issued Wisconsins (P's included) are getting way way over what
they are...

added a decent 1896-O Morgan to the list...looks like an average "ebay"

moment ) are over 1 oz sterling silver with 24kt gold overlay and the
pictures are beautiful proofs of different...

One of my coworkers put out a dish to collect pennies for their school.
I didn't get a chance to search the whole lot :-( before they dumped it in
the big jar at the school, but I did spot a few to rescue. (Don't worry, I
replaced them my pocket change.) It was nothing spectacular, but I...

My First Slabbed Coins by
WJW
I got my first slabbed coins from E-Bay today. I love em. I really like
how the Silver American Eagle looks in the NGC holder. I have already
been schooled by you guys about buying MS69 SAEs, so I am avoiding
slabbed bullion and moving on to "real" coinage. I am on the lookout
for good deals on...

On Saturday afternoon Frank P. referened this auction:

I wrote the seller and asked. Here is his reply:
You asked:
"Why is this coin not slabbed by PCGS, ANACS,...
