A "stain" to most. by
note.boy
But to this seller it's "a light wallet tinge".
One the whole his description is....um.......inventive.
Some may see it as an attempt at talking up the grade of a note that's not
very nice.

Exciting, for a few seconds. by
note.boy
When I saw this,
http://cgi.ebay.com/England-Queen-Elizabeth-1-Pound-Bank-Note_W0QQitemZ8371367533
I read it as "England, Queen Elizabeth 1, Pound Bank Note", a note several
hundred years old!
But alas it's "England, Queen Elizabeth, 1 Pound Bank Note", a note not
several hundred years old. :-(...

In God We Trust Motto by
ralphy
I am trying to find out the date when the change of "no motto" to
"motto" on the series 1935G Silver certificate, took place. We all know
that 1935G series was printed between Jan. 30, 1961 and April 13, 1962.
We also know that a "with motto" bill is worth about 4 times that of a
"no motto" bill....

I have been trying to find info. on the changeover from the wide border

bills. Whether both plates were used simultaneously throughout the
printing period, or whether a cutoff date occurred. Since Their values
are identical. My...

Mrs. Stuppler's letter ANA board by
pmperson
Did I read it right? Was she surprised there were meetings to attend
that took up time? I don't know, but I do hope a lot of people will
take her advice and run next time. Let's get some new governors? I'd
like to hear from anyone who does not think this is a dead issue.
Thanks, Judith

New trend, new business, new year a new beginning by
MikeA
New trend, at start of new year.
"If you want things to work different, you must try a different...whatever..." Does that seem obvious?
Brighten up with this "reading" and attack the money issue with
more gusto!
I am finishing my year 2005 with some regrets and some joy.
For some the year passed...
