Found $5 Coin! by Jud
Just back from my vacation and wanted to report that I found a $5 coin on the beach! Normally this would be a great find except I was vacationing in Jamaica and the coin was a Jamaican $5 - worth about 8 1/2¢. Subject line was good anyway!

First Numismatic Item of 2006 ??????? by Dale Hallmark
I made my first numismatic purchase of 2006 on Jan. 9th. Normally I don't get to make my first acquisition in the new year until March or so due to holiday bills and getting ready for the dreaded IRS taxes.
