old coin or fake ? chariot driver by [email protected]
Google search "tourist coin". I've got one too. Made in the 1960s. If by itself, it's worth a couple dollars. If inlaid in a necklace by Napier in their costume jewelry line from the '60s, it is worth well over a hundred dollars.

1942 Penny by [email protected]
I have a 1943 oz Penny dot be4 and dot after Penny and I. The reason they're valuable is because they were struck with diamond on obverse.

New American Innovative dollar by oepepper[_2_]
Why didn't they put the date and mintmark on the liberty side of the coin. It looks like plenty of room for it to me.

Planchet Quality by george pearl
I bought a MS68 Indiana quarter on ebay to have an example of what such a grade would look like. I noticed that the coin had mirrored fields and I was wondering if the Mint specially prepared the planchets in order to achieve such quality-maybe polishing the planchets prior to striking.

Merry Newtonmas 2017 by Michael Marotta
Celebrating Newtonmas off and on since 1984, this year I honored Sir Isaac by buying myself one of the commemorative 50p coins from the British Royal Mint. "Near the end of his life, Newton described himself to his nephew and biographer, John Conduitt, in these pleasant words: 'I do not know...
