Chicago Pen Show by D. Brown
I've never been to a pen show, and am really only interested in seeing all the vendor displays. So, is this just a Sunday general admission event for me? Or are there things happening on Friday and Saturday that I would be interested in as well? Thanks for your help.

Nathan's (a/k/a Scaupaug) Noodlers Ink -- as good as Aurora black! by Andy Rothman
This is a completely unsolicited message of praise for a wonderful new ink. I just tried some of Nathan's black Noodler's fountain pen ink, and found it to be as good if not better than Aurora black (which had been my favorite black ink). Seems identical in flow, drying time, etc., Doesn't...

esterbrook renew points by JP
Picked up a small lot of renew points. Just inventoried and there is one with a number that I can't find any info about. Esterbrook 6668 seems to be a fairly stiff nib but that's where I get stuck. Does anyone have any info? I checked the ads and listings found on a search. Suggestions anyone?

I was considering the purchase of a Sailor Magellan was wondering what the opinons were out there on this pen. Also, I understand that Sailor is only selling this pen with a 21k nib in the US. Does anyone have experience with the 21k nib vis-a-vis the 14k nib? Also, as I usually use a medium,...

Hey All, I've heard great things about 'Scaupaug' in this newsgroup, but I understand from what I've read here that's he is rather busy right now. Can someone recommend (another) reliable dealer for restored Sheaffer Touchdown pens that doesn't charge an arm and a leg? I'm primarily looking for...

Parker Duofold, flat inkbag and more by Kenneth Darling Soerensen
I recently purchased a Parker Duofold off the Internet, just for the fun of it. On the nib it says "Parker Duofold 14K Pen D" and on the side of the pen it says "New Parker Duofold" and "M. L. D." (I suspect these are the initials of the original owner) Pen:...

Pelikan fp--? knock off by LL
Almost every product has been copied. Is the distinctive pocket clip of the Pelikan trade-marked or copyrighted? I bought a nice piston-filler fp with such a pocket clip at an antique place in Ottawa. Engraved "North-Rite" on the barrel. Did Pelikan manufacture pens in Canada? Very inexpensive and...

Nidor Graph by Jeff Miars
In a batch of old pens, I acquired a Nidor Graph fountain pen. It is red, with a wide gold-colored band, clip and lever. The lever is unusual, in that you must push down on one end before you can pull up on the other. The blind cap holding the clip on is black. The entire body of the pen is...
