Victor Manta
Inspired by a page to which Pierre Courtiade recently pointed us (thanks,
Pierre!), I put together a Web page about the Ukrainian famines and the
related stamp issues.
http://www.values.ch/communism/Ukraine/ukr-famines.htm
I have integrated it into my Communism on Stamps site.

Philatelist at Rosehill by
Rodney
I finally have the opportunity to meld my two hobbies
today, as "Philatelist" a 3yo Filly is contesting a 1400m sprint today
at Rosehill.
There is no indication from Sire or Dam of a name hierarchy,
so perhaps there is a canny stamp collector behind the scenes.
She looks a likely type and I shall...

Canadian Query by
amesh \(Mette\)
This morning I received a letter from Canada, nicely franked and neatly
cancelled. Looking closer at one of the stamps I noticed that it has some
sort of label glued across it in a slanted position. The label shows a
scribbling fountain pen. I believe that even on the scan it is clear that
it is...

and I have found my daily spam tally reduced...
