"ARMED GUARDS" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! by
bicycle
More from Noodle's "armed guard" gated community:
"I was surprised to learn that the security patrol that we see at
night was cancelled on the weekends! I may be wrong, but isn't weekend
protection just as important as weekdays? Isn't this when all the
non-residents come into our community to...

"Cheapness," as per Frank Zappa. by
DeserTBoB
Frank Zappa did a really funny bit about old horror movies long ago,
saying how much he liked "cheapness." You know, the bit about the
plastic monster would be shoved forward into frame a bit too far and
you'd see the 2x4 pushing it, that sort of thing? Well, I think 8
track recorders by...

"Cold Heat" a fraud by
DeserTBoB
The subject's been on soldering in various threads over on the
8trackheaven "goo goo groop" of late, so I thought I'd add this word
to the wise.
You see those "Cold Heat" battery operated "soldering" irons
advertised on TV? Someone presented me with one, as they fell for the
ad hype and then...

"cricket" Bwahahahahahaha! by
Charlie Fraudo
"cricket" is street slang for someone who licks the **** off another queers
dick after it was pulled out of someones ass. How appropiate that Chuckles
picked that as his new moniker. How's that **** taste Charlie?

"Fiesta orange" spaceball for $425??? WTF? by
The Poodlebutt
I came across a Federal appellate opinion once where a guy's
conviction was upheld for his participation in the great Philly
Weltron Riot of 1973.
The factual details were unfortunately very, very skimpy, but this
much was plain: a crowd of folks got caught red-handed by Customs
officials trying...

"Fiesta orange" spaceball for $425??? WTF? by
DeserTBoB
What never ceases to amaze me about this 8 track thing is the love of
cheapo portables from the "disco era," like the Weltron "spaceball."
These things routinely sell for big bucks on sleazeBay, but this one
takes the...

Asshole Evans just had an epiphany, he realized all the overpriced

"Kids" sue Pink Floyd's label for royalties by
DeserTBoB
Almost 25 years after "Another Brick In The Wall, Pt. 2" hit #1 on the
US charts and elsewhere, the "chorus kids" in the hit song are suing
for back royalties. Turns out, what the producers did was round up 12
members of a high school choir near the studios, herded them into the
studio and...

"Old" Capitol vs. "Crapitol" by
DeserTBoB
Hmmm...seems there is a pronounced difference in quality between the
older "Audiopak" Capitol offerings and the newer "Pretty Fruit"
things. I've yet to run across a later Crapitol that isn't
mechancally noisey, and most seem to yield wow and flutter readings
into the multiple percetage...

"Tight" pancakes by
DeserTBoB
In my continuing (futile?) efforts to diagnose performance problems
with carts, I decided to try varying the winding tension on the reel
of a noticeably stiff late Audiopak to 1.) prevent jams, which had
obviously taken place on this particular cart, a troublesome "double
album" one) and see if...
