elsewhere) to "brass plated" coins and other items.
Google yields many references, including services that claim to brass-plate.

I understand how brass *be* plated...

Carbon Tet by
Fred
Noting from the "Currency" thread just above, I noticed Bill Krummel use the
words Carbon Tet.
Can someone give me more information on this liquid? Is it the same thing
as a dip?
Is it safe for coins?
How does someone go about getting it?

FS: 90% silver, Lexington-Concord, Elgin, 1882 Morgan by
Bill Krummel
These are items I picked up at the monthly coin club auction, last week.
For various reasons, I do not desire to give any of this a permanent home.
Before listing at eBay with a $1 start and enjoying the excitement of seeing
whether I will lose money or make money, I offer these items here in...

WTB: Early Lincoln Cents by
John Carney
I haven't been having much luck lately locating the last 15 Lincolns I need for my
collection. I'm looking for the following dates in a nice, even brown EF-AU grade. Most
are semi-keys, but a few should be relatively easy. Here is what I need:
1911D, 1911S, 1912D, 1912S, 1913S, 1914, 1914S, 1916D,...

Coin Talk Needs You by
Peter T Davis
Howdy Folks,
The forum that I set up last fall, www.cointalk.org is now getting in the
area of 200 unique visitors per day. These are mostly newbies who come in
from the search engines. I've done my homework on website promotion, and
now it's paying off. Now, Coin Talk needs experienced people...
