"Lot Of The Day" by
J. A. Mc.
I'm sure all the GB collectors will recognize this "Rare George VI"
stamp. What is more interesting is that the seller includes imagery of
items NOT offered AND has a reserve on this badly trimmed postal
stationery item.

what to look for in a cover? by
b1zgrz55
I meant what makes a cover valuable? what factors determine its value? I
browsed ebay's categories, I saw some covers that look very common sold for
hundreds of dollars, while some unique ones (to my eyes) are rarely viewed.
thanks for you answers.

Counterfeit stamps by
John Stone
How big a problem is counterfeiting of stamps? I'm thinking of those sold
in the collector market and not the common ones used everyday for postage.
I notice there is a "buyer beware" notice about stamps on Ebay. Was this
the result of a lot of complaining from stamp collectors seeing...

I'm looking to get my grandson started in this hobby and have a general
question about removing them from the envelopes. Its been years since
I've done any myself, and I do mean years. Anyway, I think I can handle
the soaking stage, and the drying - hopefully. But how to get the newer
self...
