Silver plating question by
WebDevGal
A friend of ours was in a conversation today regarding a type of
plating process on silver coins. There was reference to a short word
that began with a "c" but they can't remember what it is - they want
to look it up to find out more about it, but can't remember it. Can
anyone help?

Ebay Live is like Ebay Dead by
David
Finally got registered to bid on the auctions. Went to the listing
and each item I tried to pull up gave me a "connection refused" error.
Not exactly a way to run a auction.

Dipping by
John
I won an auction on ebay. The photo showed the coin with toneing. When I
received the coin it was not toned. I wrote the seller and he said he
dipped it as he does many of his coins. I went to my local coin shop and he
said dipping was not cleaning. When he sends coins out for gradeing...

Missing 1913 Liberty Head Nickel Found! by
JSTONE9352
A rising tide lifts all boats, don't you think this will be good for the
hobby?
Perhaps. The general public isn't going
to know or care about the circumstances
of how the coin came out of hiding, they are dazzled by the big money
value aspect of the coin. Long time collectors should be...
