[LONG] Mixing and matching Rowe parts across generations by
Chuck
I'm trying to get a little more power out of my Rowe R-88 jukebox than
the 125 watts the native amplifier provides.
I have verified that all the major assemblies in my juke are proper for
an R-88; specifically the amplifier is the 6-07438-06 amplifier listed
in the manual. We can assume my entire...

Zebrawood veneer refinishing by
[email protected]
Hi group,
I've finished the cabinet of a Seeburg B I've been restoring.This is
the first time I've worked with zebrawood, hence the
questions/concerns.
As I was gluing on the veneer pieces, several of the edges came loose,
and I re-glued and clamped them to hold the edges down along the sides
of the...

Barry Schiffer
Hi -
My son's youth group is getting a game room in their community center
and has picked up a semi-working jukebox. Here's the deal - the
mechanism moves and stops but it fails to pick up a record. When I
place a record in the mechanism and put a little extra pressure on the
part that holds the...

You Guys ROCK!!! by
Robotron Tom
Hey guys,
I checked my R-82 over again and found a break in the small wires that
run down the tone arm. It was only separating with the needle on the
record and reconnecting when on the rest. I soldered the wire back
together and put shrink tube on it...problem solved. My juke now has
great...

should know it has been in his family since the 60's, and only $10,000
buy in now price. Who knows with that discription this could be a rare

Yahoo Groups Vintage Jukebox Group by
Unitron
Hello all,
I wanted to start a Yahoo Groups Jukebox group since google is a bit
limited for posting photographs and uploading files. Anyone is welcome
to join the group. I'm thinking it will allow us to be a bit more
organized with restoration information that can be uploaded into files.
I've...

wurly cobra "?" by

Hi all,
I have a 1958 wurly 2200 and was wondering if the cobra cart can play
stereo records without tearing them up (has enough compliance)? The 2 I
have are old and stiff, but didn't want to spend $25 for a new one if
it will be the same (I was told the cobra will play stereo records ok,

Wurly 2304S top repair by
BaggySac
Does anyone know what the top casting is made of? I have the (very
typical) problem of a cracked casting by the support hinge. I would
like to get it repaired, but I do not know what type of welding shop
to take it to.
regards.

Wurly 1400 by
JJohn
Hello,
Picked up a Wurlitzer 1400 - my first juke, and am in the process of
attempting to restore. One problem I have encountered so far is the
wiring inside the unit itself is very brittle (selector assembly,
changer motor, etc.). My question is - are the plugs the wires go
into serviceable? ...
