Now private. by note.boy
This seller of severely overgraded coins now has private feedback, odd with it at 99.9%. Why would he go private with only one neg? Billy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GEORGE-1V-HALFCROWN-OBVERSE-BROCKAGE_W0QQitemZ8361975253

Some fun stuff! by Larry Louks
I recently obtained some foreign coins from a friend, who gave them to me. I've enjoyed looking through them, and have developed a special appreciation for 1969 rendition of a little "1/2 Fr." coin which I'm guessing is Francs and is of French derivation? It's about the size of a U.S. dime. Are...

A Christmas contest! by vikubz
Due to circumstances within my control, I have an extra 10X B&L Hastings triplet. Now if you were around for my last contest, you know I like oddball movies of the Monty Python ilk. So this contest has to do with "The Life Of Brian", and it is even coin related. I will draw a winner from all...

Found in change by DANIEL :-}
Got home and dumped the days change out on the desk in the office. The girls normally go through the daily change I bring home and stack it by type for us to look at after dinner. However, today they came running into the kitchen with a 1962-P Lincoln cent that they just knew was not...

HELP: Morgan 1887 double date?? by Bob Hairgrove
I just bought this on eBay ... seller advertised it as a regular 1887-P, but provided good pictures. Thought I saw doubling in the date, so I picked it up. Unfortunately, I don't have the VAM book yet (but I have ordered it through Amazon). I do have Breen's "Encyclopedia", and there he says that...

SGS MS70 abon by linxlvr
Hi all. Am still looking for MS 1941 P-D-S Nickels. I see on ebay a seller named abon selling SGS MS70 coins. Of course they are overgraded, but my question I guess is how much is likely. If they will definetly be MS65, then I would like to bid on them, but I don't want them if they might...

Silver Spot prices and Baltimore shows by michael atkins
Silver rose all week during the Baltimore show and peaked around $9 an ounce on Friday. When the show ends and the new week begins it has done nothing but fall every day, down to the 8.30's today.... I'm sure this is pure coincidence but it seems to have happened enough for my memory to have noted...
