1921-S Morgan Dollar Die Break? by
Steven
I recently purchased a 1921-S Morgan with what appears to be a die
break on the reverse. This "break" runs thru the center of the "N" in
"ONE" up past the top of the "O" and then to the right of the Star,
and then stops within a leaf. I could not find any such variety
listed. Has anyone else seen...

1922 (Plain) Lincoln Cent Question. by
Lisa Birkner
Hi everyone...
I come here once in awhile just to gather some knowledge of coins and
once in awhile advise. Such as now.
My question is about the grading of a 1922 (plain) Lincoln Cent (Die#2).
Is this coin graded the same as all Lincoln's? Or are exceptions made?
Reason I ask is because I just...

1922 No D 1c in Heritage Auction in St. Louis by
Ira Stein
I've noticed the PCGS populations increasing in AU-50 for the 1922 No D
1c Strong Reverse, and I saw two AU50s in West Palm Beach show that I
would call no better than EF-40. This is a date I specualize in, and
I've seen and sold many of tehse prior to the slabbing companies
startup dates.
Here's...

across this one:

Is it my eyes, or is that a very strange looking 22?

1922 No D Lincoln by
Wes Chormicle
I posted a pic at ABPN. Obviously a die #2 and I'm pretty comfortable it's
genuine, but would like other opinions.

1922 No D question by
David Lanphear
It has been said that the cause of a true No-D variety was heavy polishing
of clashed dies. However, if that is the case, in order to completely
obliterate the mint mark from the die, the polisher would of had to create a
depression in the die (remember what's raised on a coin is a depression...

1922 no D strong reverse. What's wrong here? by
Ira Stein
Our old friend centsles is selling the following item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2199904612&category=11944
I enlarged the photo in Photoshop, and it reveals hardly anything because of
excess compression, a blurry image, anbd very small image size. What doesn't
the seller...

Tom
I have a 1922 Lincoln cent with a very faint
D. On the 1922 P is there any indication at all
of a D on the coin?

1922 Plain Lincoln Cent by
Dennis G. Rears
Is this considered an error coin or a legitimate struck coin? From what I
have been reading the 1922 coinj was only minted in Denver and it was due to
weak dies that no mint mark was issued. Comments?

1922-1927 Canadian dimes by
A_Canadian
Anybody know why there was no Canadian dimes minted from 1922 to 1927?
There's just a gap in the 2004 Charlton's guide, no mention of why.
