Pen That Can Take Pilot G-2 Refill by
Surinder Singh
Hi Everyone:
I want to get a decent, but not too expensive pen which can hold a G-2
refill. I like this beauty of a refill.
Essentially I want a pen that is not expensive ( $30, preferably $20).
I want something that is modern, contemporary and simple. I do not like
heavy pens, something...

Help with Shaeffer converter (new FP owner) by
Geoffrey Lessel
I bought my first fountain pen, a cheap $20 Shaeffer at Office Max,
about two weeks ago. I've absolutely loved using it so far and have
tonight gone through my second of the two supplied cartridges. I also
received, in the mail Friday, my first bottle of ink (Noodler's black)
to fill my converter...

Instrument rating for a Pilot Knight? by
JChapman
I had one of these in red - I loved it and then found after 2 weeks it
refused to cross my "t's" anymore. Adjustments and cleansings did
nothing to relieve this. I returned it and continue to rely on my
Fisher Space Pen.

Question on Refill for Waterman Roller Most Like Uniball Vision Elite by
esb100
I have two Waterman rollers, an Expert II and a Phileas. I like the
Waterman roller refills (most than many people, judging by the posts
here), but must admit that my favorite rollerball line for thickness,
wetness and smoothness is that in the $2.50 0.8mm Uniball Vision Elite.
I have tried the...

Smoothest Ballpoint pen? by
Nic
Hello,
I'm looking for recommendations on the smoothest ball point pen?
Parker? Papermate? Sheaffer?
Is there a difference in smoothness between black and blue
inks in ballpoint pens? Especially pertaining to Parker ballpoint
pens as most of my ballpoint pens are Parkers.
What is that "fuzz"...

I added some stuff about FPs and FP inks to Wikipedia by
Juhapekka Tolvanen
Well... Here is Wikipedia's article about Fountain pens:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_pen
I added those links pointing to articles about fountain pen
manufacturers and fountain pen inks. BTW does anybody know, if Dunhill
makes fountain pens, too?
Most links to fountain pen inks are...

Best capacity: converter or cartridge? by
JChapman
Not sure if this has been touched on before but I'm dying to find out
which modern ink system holds more ink. Never mind the arguments about
landfill versus ease-of-use or how ink usage mileage may vary depending
on your pressure and type of paper. I've been all over the web and
can't get accurate...

Authenticating a Mont Blanc? by
JimL
(hope this isn't a repeat - My palm hit the keyboard and the first
attempt disappeared! :)
I recall some time back in this group there was a discussion that Mont
Blanc puts a serial number somewhere (on the ring?) of some of their
pens, but not all. Also that they only sell through...

ebay question by
macaddicted
I got an email that is supposedly from ebay offering to make me a "Power
Seller". While I am active on ebay, my rating nor my activity seem
enough to justify ebay giving me this rating. I clicked on it, and
stupidly logged in. But something about it seemed strange, so I clicked
the link...

G2 blobs! by
JimL
In my experience, normal for any rollerball, unfortunately. A
rollerball is essentially just a ballpoint pen, but with ink that is
closer to fountain pen ink (i.e. more water) than ballpoint ink (more
paasty). That's also why rollerball refills run out of ink so quickly.
I got BACK into using...
