Did anyone in this group get a mailer from the US Mint/US Post Office about a subscription for a set of gold overlaid stamp ingots and coins (non-monetary though) featuring 25 of the Presidents? They want people to subscribe to the set at $135 a month for a stamp and a non-coin. The mailer urged...

FA: 1c No Res. Ebay. 1889 ANACS MS Seated 50c I bought as proof by [email protected]
Just listed on Ebay at 1c no reserve: 1889 ANACS Unc Details Net AU50 Proof Like Seated Half now with no bids. I bought this years ago as a Proof 61 with mintage of 711, still a scarce issue as Mint state (AU50 cleaned) with only 12,711 minted. The surface looks to be mirrored. Any ideas?

Mythbusters revisted - silver dollars shot at by [email protected]
They are re-running the Mythbusters show (Discovery Channel) at 7 PM EST and PST, 6 PM CST tonight (Nov. 5). I am not sure at what point of the show they try shooting a hole in several 19th century silver dollars, and it is not pretty LOL.

Which coin show would you say is the best and/or largest?? by [email protected]
Just wanted to know what show you like the best and why. I'm in NYC, and in the late 80's thru early 90's the best show used for me was the GSNA (garden state num. 250+ dealers) show in Cherry Hill, NJ. Also held in Cherry Hill was the GENA (greater eastern num. I think, 200+ dealers). The later is...
