New Pick3 Catalog by

Has anyone looked closely at this newest disaster from F&W (nee
Krasue)? I did notice that Somalia doesn't exist anymore! Anything
else we should know about?

dollar-sign transformed from 2-lines to 1-line ? by
[email protected]
I remember when a 2-stroke dollar sign was seen in print. I myself
haven't seen one recently.
I remember reading long ago, in a fiat-money-is-unconstitutional tract,
that the change first occurred when (hope I'm remembering this
correctly!) when the US Army ceased paying in silver specie.......

Identifying banknotes - can you help? by
Baz
I have come across some old banknotes, which appear to be german, dating
from around the 1920 and onwards. Would anyone have any idea of their
history and value?
You can view the notes at http://www.btinternet.com/~bewatts/papermoney.html
Any comments gratefully appreciated.

THE WEST WING
Pretty Clear Shots of Toby Ziegler's Obsolete Bank Notes
They are seen from Toby's desk as being to the right of the french

They are above the old map.

Money of Great Britain by
Poss
Hello all, delurking with a question: what were the dimensions of notes in
GB during the 30s and 40s? Watching Poirot the other night, I noticed the
size of a 5 pound note he took out of his wallet - it looked almost A5 size.
Were the notes considerably bigger in the 30s and 40s? Did the...

Coin World to start paper money publication by
stonej
From the snippet of the editorial I read on their website for the June
13 issue it appears that Coin World will be starting a paper
money publication.
I say: What took them so long?
It only makes sense considering the growth in the paper money
field over the past decade.
They probably figured...

97% and still falling. by
note.boy
This seller has just one description for most of the notes he sells,
even the very tatty ones, and that is "HIGH QUALITY", I just LOVE
sellers that use unnecessary CAPITALS.
His private feedback, I wonder why it's private :-), is now down to 97%
and no doubt will fall even further. ...

Going very well. by
note.boy
It's currently at £56.55 which is a very high price, it is the last ever
date and prefix for the bank's £1 notes but that's a high price to pay.
I bought one off ebay in a similar condition for £23 in September 2002,
have values gone up that much? ...
