FA: France "Fleurs de Coins" Sets from 1965,75,76,77,78 - More Coming by
Nick Knight
I've listed all of my sets from France on eBay ... slowly working to clear
out my personal WW mint and proof set holdings. Listings include my
standard "ship to US/Canada only", but seeing as bids are light so far, many
French eBay'ers are writing to inquire. I'm tellng them ok, but shipping
will...

Family of Eagles by
KEITH JONES
The "Family of Eagles"...
is a two-fold method of referring to the coins.* The first is a direct
quote from the law itself describing the design on the backside of the
coin: "on the reverse side, a design representing a Family of Eagles,
with the male carrying an olive branch and flying above a...

OT, Question about value of an item, not a coin by
Dale Hallmark
I was contacted by someone who wanted a valuation on a 1921 Austrian
Passport.
I have never seen one and never knew or heard of anyone who collected such
items.
Anyone have a clue as to value? Is that a popular collecting area I never
heard of?

making sense of large cents by
kathy1945
I just viewed, by accident on E-bay, a braided hair large cent. I'm
thinking of working on that series. The older "petite head" isn't as
attractive as the later ones. Is it valid to just do half a series?
The E-bay pix are all shades of shiny orange to light and dark brown to
black. I asked the...

What to do with my quarters?? by
Jason Schoenrock
I have a collection of old quarters that's been sitting in my attic for a
while and I am wondering what is the best thing to do with them. It is
quite a large collection (around 2700 coins), including some potentially key
dates. Most of the quarters are in decent shape, but I have no grading...

I sent these guys a letter and an email asking to be removed from all their
mailings, clubs, circulars, memberships, etc....they have since sent me two
more shipments of coins to review. I don't think I have to return them.
They are becoming a nuisance. Advice please..

Cleaning Coins? Help please by
WalkingJohnny
Hey everyone,
I've recently been given access to a relative's coin collection, left to me
in a will. I had to wait until I turned 21 before it was mine (even though
it was kept in the house).
The majority of the coins were not preserved well and are
damaged/dirty/tinted (I'm not even sure of...

"Chopmark" note found in change by
Mike Marotta
Having read about them, I finally found one. I have a USD 1 Series
2001 St. Louis. On the back at the upper right to the right of the
1/ONE, is small 6-mm circle. The legend reads SOL DE OCOŅA (tilde-N).
In the center is an icon of a bag with a $-sign.

Does anyone know the status of them? I think I read something
