ISO pictures/scans of vintage gold overlay safeties . . . by
Jack Forster
Hi everyone! Thanks very much to everyone who has stopped by the new pen
forum at www.ThePuristS.com. I'm kind of trying to do a little
consciousness raising on vintage pens, and wanted to ask if anyone has
pictures/scans of some nice gold overlay safety pens they might like to
share. Again, we...

Good deal on Cross Pens??? by
Prometheus7
I'm new to even thinking about buying a "good" writing pen. But, I came
across a sale at a local shop on Signature Series Cross Pens. 1/2 price.
The pens look very nice. Some lapis, other things like mother of pearl.
Are these pens nice from a colletor's perspective?
Thanks in advance,
David

Uniball's Power Tank by
James Carpenter
Has anyone out there tried the Uniball's pressurized "Power Tank"
ballpoint?
I saw them in the store yesterday, and they look like disposable
versions of the Fisher Space Pen, making the same claims about writing
upside down, underwater, and in frozen temperatures.
Has anyone given them a...

Mystery Montblancs by
Dirk
Recently decided to rekindle an old interest and need help identifying
two Montblancs. One is a gold Meisterstuck purchased new in 1992--it
looks similar to the new Vermeil, but has a pattern that I believe is
called 'barley.' The nib is '4810,' common to later Meisterstuck
models, I believe.
The...

New RSFPC Service: Member biography service launched. by
Avery A. Hise
Many members of the online fountain pen community asked for a
biography service. Not just a page of biographies, but a service that
allows its members to post and keep up-to-date the biography as the
owner sees fit.
Try it on for size; I'm sure it'll fit. :-)
Best,
Avery A. Hise

Len Provisor
Nakaya Pen Co has received much attention lately with their
Wajima-nuri -Tamenuri- RED with a swirl of color that appears as if you are

"Tame" means "pool" and "nuri" refers to the lacquer coating process. You

Regarding Parker Big Red by
kasey
There were a few fountain pen expertise, whom duplicate or clone Parker
Duofold Big Red with different material and sell it in FP market. I would
like to know is it against copy right by doing this ? Or they did obtain
some approval document from Parker ?? Can anyone clear my doubt ?
Thank you.
