Thanks Tom L-M and Russell Funk by
Jedis_Ghost
Thank you for the nice answer. It was just a question on where to
look. I want to purchase this book for my wife. I have never bought a
out-of-print book before and didn't know where to look.
Also, thanks for defending me.
As an aside, without the intention of starting a flame war,

Which newsgroup for literature? by
Sean
I'm looking for the appropriate newsgroup for literature-related
questions; this group is the closest thing I've found.
Can any book-people here recommend a better group for things like
author recommendations???
Many thanks,
Sean

paghat
SFWA has put together a very nice e-piracy awareness page:
http://www.sfwa.org/epiracy/
You can get banners or buttons for the e-piracy awareness compaign to put
at your own websites, & the button is kinda cool, a Jolly Roger flag.

Maxims of Napoleon by
Jerry Morris
On ebay last week, a listing for a deluxe edition of the Maxims of
Napoleon, London, 1913, that contained the bookplate of the original
owner, attracted my attention. Always looking for another copy of this
book with an historical provenance, I asked the seller for information
about the...

Turning accepted literary theory on it's head? by
Haunted River
I was always taught that a writer cannot but reveal something of him-
or herself through their writings; also that the best writers write
from personal experience. Yet John Pelan of Midnight House argues a
different perspective:
"Actually, I couldn't care less what you or Klein think; though...

Holograph or facsimile? by
John Yamamoto-Wilson
I've mentioned this one before on rcb, but the responses were inconclusive,
and I've now managed to work out some techniques that might lead to a more
definite conclusion. I'd like to know what others think.
I have a book which contains an inscription, which is definitely
handwritten, and a...

Brag by

Not that I haven't had things to brag about ere now, but this one is

I've been working on for the past few years.
I recently bid on, and won, a first-printing copy of _Twisted_

Bookseller Terminology by
Tom L-M
So,
I took this:
(recte 913, p. 68-97 omitted, 101-102 twice),
to mean pages 68-97 are missing, and 101-102 printed twice - but I have been
told it actually means the paignation is mixed up.
So - can anyone clarify this?
