PCGS "Coin Doctor" Suit kicked out of Federal Court by
No User[_7_]
x-no-user: yes
The famous 'coin doctor' suit..."the whole enchilada" got tossed...judge
lambasted David Hall...outrageous that a company that charges for evaluating
coins is suing their own authorized dealers (agents) for PCGS's FAILURE to
properly do the job they purport to do.

Coin & Currency Ideas by
Drago the Wolf
Hey all,
I just had some quick questions.
I may have mentioned at one time or another, that I may try to invest
in real estate, so,
I was wondering, if I had a fairly descent amount of money, would I
possibly be able to get some, if not all of my ideas going? ("Famous
Dogs Half Dollar Coin Act"...

Does junk silver (90% silver coins before 1965) really get melted or
does it just get traded from person to person?
Anybody actually see coins being melted in any quantity?

American Eagle silver coin weight by
Bigfoot048
I have several of the American Eagle 1 oz. silver coins. This is the
one with standing liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse.
On the reverse is says "1 oz. fine silver." No where on these coins does
it say troy ounce or .999. Are these coins 1 troy ounce or 1 ounce
silver coins? ...

MS-60 to MS-70... Question! by
Naissur Bara
So, not all uncirculated coins are created equal. We have the MS-60 on the
lower end, and the MS-70 on the ideal end. Some people might argue the
latter should only exist in theory. This brings me to my question.
What, in your opinion, is the range of coins that qualifies as
"uncirculated" vs....

5oz Quarters Delayed by
Bremick
I read today that the Mint has delayed release of those 5oz silver
National Parks "quarters". Supposedly, the Mint is concerned over
skyrocketing silver prices that have lead to the wild pre-release prices
being asked by the "authorized dealers" who will be receiving the coins(?)
from the Mint...
