Spain- need ID by
John O'Brien
Can anyone identify stamps inscribed "Plan Sur De Valencia".
There is also a stamp inscrobed "Giro" . Is this similar to the Postal
Note stamps used by the US in the late 1940's - early 1950's ? Thanks
for your help.
Sorry, I gave a bad link in the previous post.

Hungary Selvedge query by
Rodney
The majority of my CTO Art Reproductions have this
scratchy scribbly work in the selvedge.
I wonder if a printer (Shell?) could indicate the significance of this.

Query- Last day Cover by
Rodney
I recently purchased an old suitcase after I spotted some early
Selangor and Perak FDC's.
This one caught my eye on further examination, and wondered if any
Angliphiles could establish if the sticker reads correctly.
I wasn't aware there were Sunday postmarks as late as 1976.
Is this a leg...

Hi
I have a large amount of very good condition old Russian stamps (some

collectable editions etc etc. I am looking at selling them, depending
on their value. Is there any place (aside from ebay) that is

Stamphead - ratings? by
David F.
I paid a serious visit to Stamphead last night.
I like it very much, in fact I would change over
from QXL tomorrow, apart from two things...
There don't seem to be many visitors or bids
on the existing Auctions! So even though it's
all 'free', there is little chance of selling on a
regular basis.
