So, the 2004 card design features a white border and non-metalic lettering for the first time since 1994, a 10-year hiatus. If the photos didn't feature 100 different pitchers in mid-windup and 200 different batters in mid-swing, I might actually consider collecting again...

Now that MLB will sorta crack down on steroid use, how will - and should - that affect the value of "certain players'" cards? I think anyone who would just look at picture comparisons of Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and others when they started their careers with pictures when they hit...
