FA: High Grade NGC Indian Cents 1860's and 1870's by
dmzcompute
These are getting real tough to find in MS condition. All are MS 64 or
better and look even better in person. All I have is a cheap scanner
which does not pick up the luster and on some coins makes them darker
than they really are.
Anyway thanks for...

Lincoln 1909S VDB Grading Question by
Toujours
Great Southern Coins has this key Lincoln coin listed. They claim it
is "XF." That must mean eXtremely Fine (EF). As I appreciate it in
the Photograde book, there is no such grade as XF. As I study the
excellent photos in the listing, I would grade it as Fine (F-12). Any
one of you experienced...

My first NNC coin by
Bruce Greenblatt
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3967861994
from Centsles no less. Please forgive me, I was desperate for an 1865
trime. Not surprisingly, it's overgraded, but at least doesn't appear
to have been cleaned. I'm cracking it out and sending it off to be
reslabbed just to make...

Insured vs Registered Mail by
PC
I have a lot of 400 silver Washington quarters to ship. The last time I did
this I used insured mail and when I told the clerk at the post office what
was inside the package he scolded me for not using registered mail.
What would the experienced sellers here recommend?

Coin lost, then found -- but if I never knew it was lost, was it really? by
Bob Flaminio
Zia lost her camera, and so I've been helping her search the house to
find it. Along the way I looked through my car (yes, that car, if you
know what I'm talking about), and discovered an 1834 half dollar in one
of its secret compartments. (ANACS AU58, if you're wondering...) Wow, I
didn't even...

It's "Contest Time!" (Reminder) by
Larry Louks
A couple of days ago, I discovered a coin as I was hoeing in my garden. I've
decided to give the coin to the person who guesses closest to the date and
denomination. Hint -- it isn't gold. :) One entry per person is welcomed,
until tomorrow night, Saturday, 9 PM Central time. In the event of a...

Rolls of BU coins by
Anita
I have been looking at various sites for rolls of BU Morgans (no
1921's). The prices of these rolls are fairly high. The thing that
concerns me about paying the high prices is that the coins inside may
all be common dates worth about $23 apiece at best -- less than the
price of the roll.
Does...
