Interesting Wheat cent by
Greg Shilts
Hello all
I just finished looking at my 5000 wheat cents and found 2 interesting
coins. I can't find any info on these and am hoping that some one may be
able to help identify them.
1st is a 1955 penny with doubling in the last 5. The interesting part is on
Lincoln's forehead it looks like he was...

'e' I'm just curious. Do you live near or in gaming cities, like in
Reno? That could help explain your fantastic good luck. So far I average
1 (one) 40% per every $150 bucks in halves. Thats much like the guy that
said that he pulled 4 40%ers out of $750 bucks of halves. So you are way
way above...

ANA Governors by
Jorg Lueke
After the recent point-counterpoint in Numismatic News and then David
Harper's editorial I am still left wondering just what is going on.
But even more than that, I wonder what should be going on?
The ANA has many great staff members and some wonderful services.
There are a lot of great people in...

Not at all boring, why would you say that? No Colon Cancer and a rump
full of Silver, what could be better. Congrats on both counts.

Hi e...
All that silver pales next to the news that you don't have colon cancer.
That made my day. However...great job on the hunt.

Will the US Mint be offering a Prestige Set this year? by
xnt023
It is not on their "2006 Scheduled Products Listing", but I've seen
them make reference to it with regards to the Franklin Commemorative.
Does anyone know when and if it will be available for sale?
Thanks,
KV

South African Railway Medals, large collection of world coins. by
ThomKennedy
Hello,
I have recently come into a large collection of old coins and I am
interested in selling a number of them to help build up the areas of my
collection I am more specifically interested in ( Irish and British
coins).
As such I have a large number which i'm looking to sell, one of which...

Coin dealer followed from Baltimore show to Ohio and then robbed by
stonej
Of around $65,000 in coins while eating at a restaurant. Same old sad
story. Will people ever learn?
Mentioned in CW and NN this week but I don't remember seeing it here
and didn't see a news link on
google, I guess no media outlet picked it up.
Watch out traveling to and from the Atlanta ANA...

Mint marks -- hither, thither, and yon... by
Amistad \(formerly known as Señor Amistad\)
Hey there, fellow collectors and numismatic enthusiasts!
I have the day off today and decided to grouse through some steelies here
that I enjoy looking at. I have only a few of the 1943-S mint coins, and
thought it would be fun to examine them with my scope. I'm amazed that in
such a small number...
