Does anybody know where I can get the official US Mint tubes that gold and
platinum bullion Eagles come in? If not the official ones, who is an online
supply house that stocks tubes fitted to these coins?

Back in the 60's when the Silver Cert. were being redeemed and after they ran out of coins I think I remember
reading somewhere that silver beads of some kind were used for payment.
The question is were these issued in some sort of a package that is identifiable as to where it came from.

Is anyone on RCC working on a set of these?
If you are building a US Type Set, you need at least one. A couple of
weeks ago, I bought an Indianhead Cent in MS-64 (red; raw) for under
$50 and some VFs for comparison (1881, 1883, 1884) for a few dollars
