Arizona Coin Collector
Hello
While I collect coins made in the United States,
I came across the story below on the Britannia

Gold price reaches another record by
Arizona Coin Collector
Hello
If intrest rates are cut again, it may make the U.S. Dollar even
weaker and raise prices on such things as gas. Seems everyone
is a looser here. See the story on the link below.

Presidential Dollar Pop Reports by
bgg
I was just looking at the NGC Pop reports, and noticed that the Adams
Dollar has a (statistically significantly) lower percentage of Proof
70s than the other 3 2007 releases. Adams was around 18% Proof 70s,
and the other 3 were all around 22%. I wouldn't imagine that this
will make Adams Proof...

Strange Goings On Over At Ebay by
[email protected]
What makes people list some very weird and outrageous items on Ebay?
Is it their ego that drives them? To think that thousands of people
will read and maybe even bid on their ridiculous offerings - is that
it?
What sort of offerings can be categorised as 'strange' you might ask?
Well, this...

About the stock market by
Frank Provasek
Some comments on the stock market, closed today, but where the rest of
the world has seen the biggest one day drop since 9/11.
The business cycle exists, as sure as the ebb and flow of the tides,
and down times in which "cash is king" would "rationalize" the market,
ridding it of excess capacity,...

New collecting/cataloging website: Ourchives by
Ghost
Hey everybody,
I just wanted to give you a heads up on a startup website/company I am
starting.
The focus will be on letting users catalog all of their things, and
share them with others. Think flickr for anything and everything.
If you're interested, head over to http://www.ourchives.info and...

Political Humor: Are You A Dittohead? by
[email protected]
Years ago, Rush Limbaugh coined the term "adult beverages" to refer to
alcoholic drinks. Yet millions of dittoheads across the Fruited Plain
lacked a guide for making the best adult beverages. So I created The
Dittohead's Guide to Adult Beverages, a collection of humorous
dittohead recipes such as...

NY International Numismatic Convention by
[email protected]
Hi,
Just got back from the NY International Numismatic Convention at the
Waldorf Astoria. What an outstanding show! Just awesome! I was
debating whether to go to the FUN show or NY , but so glad I went to
NY. I heard the FUN convention was so so. The NY show just has such an
aura surrounding it....

2008 NASA 50th Anniversary Commemorative Coins: Any hope? by
halork
Given that the bill authorizing the NASA commemorative coins is still
in Congress, is there any realistic hope of these coins being released
this year? The mint needs a reasonable lead time to design the coins,
and it seems time is running out if it hasn't already.

storing paper money? by
yawnmoth
i was thinking about long term storage for paper money and am not
really sure what my options are. an envelope seems like it'd be
sufficient were it not for the fact that most are probably not going
to be made of acid-free paper. is that an issue? if so, where might
i find acid-free envelopes? ...
