optical or digital zoom by
Tom
I just bought a digital camera, and I cannot
get it to focus on a coin in macro mode.
I can get it to focus in digital macro mode,
which I understand is not really a zoom in
mode? Well actually I dont really understand
much of any of this. Would someone be
so kind as to explain about these modes?

I don't know about everybody else, but I have used the "Block Sender"
feature more in the last week than in the last couple of years (in this
newsgroup). Is it just me??

FS: a couple of Sovereigns by
gogu
Hi all!
About a couple a months ago I asked a question about the price of gold,
regarding
a couple of Sovereigns.
At that time an rcc-er said that he would be interested in a couple of
Australian Sovereigns.
I am sorry I don't remember who he was but if he is still interested I'd be
glad to sell...

Opinions about these Indian cents by
Bob Hairgrove
Just noticed that this seller is using the same pictures for at least
three of his auctions:
http://tinyurl.com/e4bxg
Nice coins, but pricey -- also, he/she hypes the grade a bit IMHO,
which is especially dangerous (for the buyer) in grades above MS-62 or
so.

Some nice finds by
Wes Chormicle
This last couple of weeks, we have been taking in a TON of junk silver.
Yesterday while trying to get caught up, I noticed one of the $1000 bags of
halves was sealed ands dated 1980. I decided to bust that one open to see
what might be in there. Remember that during the price run up of 1980,...

What does RR mean? by
Honus
Here's the context in which I came across it...a description of a
commemorative token:
SINKING OF THE LUSITANIA, 1916, Cast Iron, Blackened, 69.4mm, wt.69.90g. UNC
RR
And here's the token itself. Wow!
