Do we REALLY Want a Drug-Free Society? by
Holliston Perni
I was just reading ARIADNE'S CLEW, by J.P. Befumo (an ass-kicking book,
btw), and came cross the following excerpt that really made me stop and
think. Here it is:
Melanie hesitated, then said, "I admit you may have gotten a raw
deal, but overall, you have to see how the intent of establishing...

Parker 75 vs Sonnet by
Jeff davis
I have a late 80's Parker 75 that I have never liked because it is too slim
for me to hold comfortably. Is a Sonnet any thicker?

They don't use cartrdges, but they are handy for filling cartridges.
I think the nibs are their best -um- point. Please excuse me.

Thank you for so detailed information. It seems that the Ecrino is a
pretty small pen, maybe like a Pelikan M200 ?
Less smooth thab a Waterman Phileas is strange because my very cheap
Pilot Vortex is smoother than my Phileas demonstrator.

ROTRING FREEWAY: A review by
dm
Hi,
Since no one has written much online about the Rotring Freeway, I
thought I'd post a review of this wonderful, inexpensive pen.
I purchased a black Freeway for $26 from Joon, but I've seen it sell
for even less by various online merchants. Here's a brief review:
STYLE / DESIGN:
The pen...

Koh-I-Noor copy? by
Nic
I've never heard of this company. Their pens look identical
to Koh-I-Noor technical pens. Is anyone familiar with these pens?
Are they superior in design to Koh_I-Noor? Or made in China
copies?

Pop Survey by

Do you fp users use blotting paper or simply wait for the ink to dry, maybe
waving the piece of paper around, fanning it with your hand, or blowing on
it?
If you use blotting paper, do you use a blotter? What style, rocker or
roller (are there others)?
Me: I usually wait or simply set the sheet...

Does anyone have a handle on how long a snap-on cap will last? I

I ask because some of my favorite fountain pens have...

Picked up this really nice and inexpensive L.E. yesterday.
While I haven't inked it yet, it has a nice beauty and balance.
Anyone out there using one?

Stylographic Pens by
Nic
I like the Koh-I_Noor pens for technical work, but for writing they
are not so good. Does anyone make any stylographic pens these
days?
I'm surprised that Koh-I-Noor don't offer a stylographic nib.
