Book Advice by
Lee Cochenour
I have some questions about an item that I have had for some time. It is
a "manuscript" for Clive Cussler's "Sahara". It is two voulmes of typed
8.5X11 pages, I guess that it was too big to do in one volume in this format.
Each Volume has been bound together very simply. The cover of the first...

Two Possible Additions to FAQ by
BrainstormingSW
Hi, I've greatly helped in collecting/bookselling via this newsgroup,
and saw the FAQ as almost having more than I needed to know.
However, there has been a recent problem that I think perhaps the FAQ could
have addressed. I recently found about five books that I wanted that had some
"minor"...

A few weeks ago I picked up a nice copy of Helen MacInnes "Above Suspicion"

looking at it more closely I am wondering if it is a First American Edition.

Public Domain Issues - UK by
Tom
Reading a few websites has got me thinking that I may try to reprint some
old works that I own - if they have fallen into the public domain. A few
items in my own collection, I am hoping, would probably be eligible -
however I am not totally sure of UK copyright laws.
For example, I am pretty sure...

yet to be published.
There is a "Friends of the Library" bookstore in the next town that
takes donated books and sells them at tag sale prices to raise money...
