I looking for an 18th century spanish colonial silver coin to make into
jewelry. I googled 8 reales and "cobs" and there are a ton of sites out
there that are of questionable value. Ebay also seems to be rife with
scams, can someone suggest a reputable source for pillar dollars or
cobs?

Currency Newbie: Can anyone give me some recommendations? by
Jim Saurman
Okay, I have been collecting curency for the past 10 years, but at a very

some of you cringe... oh well, thats all the money I had to spend.
So, I'm doing much better on money now, and have a few thousand to spend.
I need...

Coin collector opinions wanted. by
[email protected]
Hello,
I have been a part time collector since the late 1980s. I recently
developed a coin trading
website so I can easily find other collectors who have what I want and
they want what I have.
All of the other trading sites I have seen thus far are based on posts
and requires the reader to search...

Contest, Apology, etc. by
Michael Ng
Dear Friends of RCC,

the past few months. There have been some major family issues,
particularly with my mother. The family issues are now over, not really
in the way I had hoped.
In any case, as a result, I am...

Better than nothing! by
Amistad
I bid on a Two Cent piece the other day that was hawked as being a Large

it. Turns out I was the only bidder on a 99 cent opening bid. Even though
the thing is in poor shape, imagine how happy I was to see that I now...
