Grade and type of this 1860 IHC? by
Bob Hairgrove
Link:
http://cgi.ebay.ch/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300021213823
Is this the pointed bust or the round bust? My red book lists pointed
first, but this one looks round to me.
As to the grade, according to the guidelines which are (or used to be)
on Rick Snow's website, the ribbon containing...

A new Yahoo discussion list has been created to provide a forum for

I have recently posted several messages to RCC addressing the extent of such

New collector in this group by
[email protected]
Hello people
My name is Ryan. I'm 14 years old and I have just begun a collection
of coins with horses on them. I have some great coins from Boznia, a
proof Chinese horse coin and some English coins with St George riding a
horse.
Can anyone tell me where is a good place on the net to buy...

that all is well in your camp and that the joys of numismatics are still

Quarter and Cent roll searches by
[email protected]
About 3 weeks back, got myself $200 worth of quarters and $20 dollars
in cents from the bank.
No silver Q's ;-( and I decided to do a state quarter search to see
how many of each I came up with.

Coin Collector Statistics by
proud-collector.com
Does anyone know of statistics related to coin collectors, such as:
How many (estimated) collectors there are in each country?
How many coins does the average collector have?
What is the average collection worth?

Crown sized coins by
Jim McGlashan
I have a decent collection of British crowns from 1662 and US dollars
from 1860 but feel I would like to 'branch out' into other countries
which have issued crown sized silver coins in past years. I need to
add another interest to my collecting. Please can anyone help me build

This coin sold last week for $510 (Collector's Universe suggests $825

$510 which I will donate as requested to the Israel Emergency Campaign.
The NEW buyer asked me not to send him the coin but to auction it for
the same charity!...

One of the greatest pleasures in participating in this newsgroup has always

I have a number of tokens and medals issued by local coin clubs that are
