John A. Stovall, "sanctimonious gasbag", also world-class twerp by
ann greenfield
How dare you question my integrity as well as my intelligence? If I
were devious enough to pull a stunt like that, do you think I would be
stupid enough to brag about it on a newsgroup?
First, the auction is from a private collection, each book bearing a
numbered slip, displayed in glass cases,...

Most Bizarre Bibliographies? by
William M. Klimon
As I've become a more serious collector in the past 5 years, I'm
become fascinated with bibliographies--of all kinds. I've bought a
few famous or important ones just for interest and reference--although
I have no major collecting interest in the subject matter.
A couple of weeks ago, I had...

Publisher/BC question by
Robin
Someone asked the question and I couldn't answer, so I come to the
experts (that's ya'll).
Can anyone cite an instance of a book being released simultaneously by
both the publisher and as a book club edition?
And if so, are there any significant differences?
Respectfully, Robin

Finding Old High School Year Book by
Finite Guy
Hi All: This is probably off the subject of this newsgroup but I just
thought I'd ask.
Does anyone know how one would look for an old High School Year Book?
I graduated form High School in 1967 and I seemed to haver lost my
yearbook over the years. Is there a website that may have these?

Background Information on the Stories in AA's Big Book by
RRiley9945
I just purchased a book which tells the biographies of the people who wrote the
stories in the first three editions of the Big Book. There is no author or
copyright material so I willing to make copies for anyone who might be
interested. It is 103 pages long and all I ask is the cost of Xeroxing...
