Koh-I-Nor Artpen II by Naddy Daddy
Hi- I posted a message about 3 weeks ago inquiring about replacing an old Koh-I-Noor Artpen. (The old model with the soft nib and yellow- barrel.) No success there, so I'm wondering if there might be a comparable model out there to be had. I am an illustrator and really need a pen with a...

Try Rotring by Jay W. Cochrane
I saw that Rotring has an Art Pen that has a flexible steel nib in fine and X-fine. I haven't tried one personally; but, if you do, let me know the results. Cost appears to be approx 17.00 US at several sites. Google "Rotring Flexible Art Pen". Look carefully, they have several models that say...

An Ink for All by Don
I have fountain pens from several different makers. What I am looking for is a good black ink from one maker that would work in all of them. The types a Namiki Falcon, Pelikan M800, an older Sheaffer, a couple of Cross, Parker Sonnet, Aurora, and Waterman. Thanks for your time and efforts. Don

Learned Something by Don
Just received my Pelikan M1000. Writes like a dream. Ordered it with a Medium nib, way too wide for me. Question being - who sells pelikan nibs? Penseller and Cajun both have them, but not sure what part of a pens price the nib represents. Looks like about half? Thanks again for your time and...

Dried Indian ink by Tony Stanford
Hi - I restore vintage pens, and a recurrent problem is dried Indian ink. I cannot find a solvent that will dissolve it out. I've tried methanol (wood alcohol, turpentine and other light oils, but the stuff remains dried. Of course, I can get it off my scrubbing, etc, but when it is dried...

question about vintage 4-colour pencil by Richard Wright
I have a vintage 4-colour pencil of unknown make. It carries no stamp, though I guess that might have been on the cap that is missing. The sliders do not lock into place. They are held in place solely by friction, which can be altered by adjusting the brass screws on the sides of the case....

Montblanc Blue/Black and Parker 51 by Juan[_2_]
After reading about the mixed opinions about MB blueblack, I've given it a try. It's great, especially with moleskines: no bleeding, smearing.... I'm using it with a parker 45 first since I can unscrew the nib in case of clogging, but I'm a bit scared about using it with a parker 51 because of the...
