Buy A CP-7 Set, Get A Free Sailor Magellan by
Chuck Swisher
Dear Friends,
We have finally received our shipment of the Sailor CP-7's and have only 3
sets remaining from our initial order. It appears these pens are selling
most places for 30% off the retail price ($1,393.00 for the set), so we have
decided not only to offer them at 30% off the retail...

Value of a plum colored Parker 51? by
Jack Forster
Hi everybody, someone on ThePuristS.com pen forum is wondering what the
value of a plum colored P51 might be- I'm not really sure as I don't collect
them and my books are all a little out of date. Can anyone help out with a
very ballpark figure, just based on the color?
Thanks in advance,
Jack...

overfeed and underfeed devices by
Charles Ackerman
I'm looking for overfeed and underfeed devices, preferably Swan, but would
consider others. I'm not looking for the full pen -- just the feed devices.
I know Swan made a combination overfeed and underfeed device, and I think
Onoto did too, but I would prefer the Swan. I'd also like to find out...

Montblanc Starwalker by
Brett Martin
Recently saw one of these in the hands of a friend (supposedly one of only
2 in Queensland) and was somewhat impressed. It was the resin model.
Now I know about the quality issues for the resin, lack of service and the
nature of Montblanc pricing (way too high) but I thought I would ask if
any...

fisher space pen refills by
sid
Hello,
Does anyone know of a good refill for the Fisher Space Pen? The refills provided
by Fisher not very clean, messy point etc. Eversharp is even better, sharper
point and writes cleaner. Has Fisher made improvements on their refills?
Thanks
Sid

51 aero filler insulation efect by
VFM
Hi, this is a bit technical question:
I understand that introducing the aerometric filler Parker improved
insulation of the "51" respect temperature changes. But, why the aero filler
increments writing mileage? I can't imagine any ink evaporation through the
lucite barrel in a vac filler 51, only...

Stylus Magazine - my first issue review by
Len Provisor
I have just received my first issue of Stylus magazine and I think it is
well produced and nicely balanced with articles on modern and vintage pens,
several pen company histories and fascinating articles. It is a hefty 114
pages of great reading, and this is what we can expect in all...

Curious Question on Pen Quality by
Prometheus7
I don't know anything about fountain pens. I've been reading a bit and
looking at pictures. Here's my question. Is there a nominal dollar amount
that you can spend above which there is no real difference in the physical
writing experience? I guess I'm asking where is the breakpoint between...

Cleaning Rapidographs - even the ancient crusted ink wasn't that bad by
Sanaka
I just finished refurbishing my 20 yr. old Rapidograph set, which was
stored, full of ink, about 10 yrs. ago. Some mechanical cleaning
action, scrubbing with Qtips and a toothbrush, made this job not too
hard at all. Other methods/suggestions I've found don't mention
anything like this, and often...

Parker 51? with a removable pump. by
Bob Munson
Has anyone seen one of these? The imprint on the pump instructs you you to
pull it out of the section, dip the end in ink and pump 5 times then replace
it in the section. It also has a contoured section and a very broad nib.
