1858 Canadian cents by A_Canadian
Just attended my first coin show and acquired the following: 1858, 59 (Late Narrow Date) and 1876 cents. 1858, 1942, 43 5 cents. I didn't expect to be able to afford both the 1858 cents, but was happy to see that the prices where very reasonable. Learned a lot on site and purchased a good...

Napoleone ImperATORE E RE 1811 Gold Coin by Will
My father has an Italian 40 Lire gold coin dated 1811 with the words on the front: "Napoleone ImperATORE E RE 1811 Gold Coin" Given the history of the coin I believe it is an original and not a fake. If it is in good condition, what is the likely value? I saw fakes of this coin on eBay going...

NGC MS69 86 thru 05 Silver Eagle Set by WJW
I see alot of complete NGC MS69 86 thru 05 Silver Eagle Sets. Is it better to build a set on my own or just look for the best price on a set. I have seen some variance on prices for MS69 coins, maybe I can get lucky and assemble one cheaper.

Jersey news ... by Harold Fears
All, I have added footnotes to my page on Jersey 1/13th of Shilling -- Copper Issues. See http://home.hiwaay.net/~hfears/pen13/pen13.htm for details. (It seems that I am starting to forget where I come up with this information. So, I'm starting to document everything.)

For those of you who haven't yet acquired a '21 Peace Dollar, here's your chance to get one for cheap. (I don't have one yet, myself.) However, after looking at this one, I'm biting my lip and moving on to something else. http://babyurl.com/mX5rSv But, the interested viewer will have to admit...

FA: 1909-S VDB 1c PCGS MS-63 RB..looks nicer by [email protected]
Ths coin is esentially full red on the obverse..lookslike asold MS-64 but the reverse has some areas of gray and dark splotches leading to PCGS net grading to a MS-63RB. Still looks far better than most in this grade & color designation. See it...

Question by Joey Jolley
Will local currency (Ithaca Hours, etc.) replace national currencies such as the dollar, yen, euro, etc.? Is there a trend toward local currencies and are they going to become dominant over the national ones? And will places with local currencies stop accepting the dollar, yen, etc.?
