collection of many thousands (of stamps), and I need some help with
some history and countries and stuff that I haven't learnt (or am not
old enough to know or remember).
Right now, I need to know about North and South...

I come across stamps for sale with stanley gibbons catalogue numbers, but

Kosovo Stamps? by
Eric Bustad
Can anyone here tell me if any stamps have been issued for Kosovo since
the UNMIK set of 5 in 2000? These were denominated in DM, but Kosovo
seems to use the euro now.

Where did all the collectors go? by
Dakota
Hey all:
There was an article in the November 24th issue of Linn's - not really
an article, rather a disclosure, giving their subscription statistics.
All publications are required by law (here in the US) to publish this
information once yearly. Many newspapers publish it in every issue -
but, I...

David F.
Hi,
I have some stamps of Deutsches Reich ones with (250/400/800 Saufend), even (2 Millionen)
overprinted on them. Could anybody has any idea about history behind such stamps and how much
they are worth. Any pointer to information related to such stamps would be really beneficial.
The photo is...

Microprinting etc on US stamps by
Grandpa
The subject has become rather amusing as of late. Noting that I could
not find any one source that had a list of US stamps containing
microprinting, hidden images/indicia and luminescence/phosphoresence,
I've spent the better part of two days compiling one. My sources are
Linn's Stamp News (Dec...

Plan sur de Valencia by
Tony Vella
The "Plan sur de Valencia" stamps were issued around 1963 as a postal tax
towards the rebuilding of Valencia. Were these stamps available throughout
Spain or just in Valencia? Thanks in advance.

Saudi Arabia - Secours Guerche by
amesh \(Mette\)
In yesterday's lot with the Egyptian overprints I have also found these four
items from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They all seem different in design,
size and colour, and all have the mention of "Secours Guerche" or simply
"Guerche". The word "secours" would indicate aid of some kind,...
