Noodler's Firefly and Highlighters by
Dave
Hi
Any suggestions for creating a useful highlighter pen to go with this
lovely ink, for somebody who
(a) is accustomed to using broad-tip felt highlighters, and
(b) has no interest in "underline-style" highlighting, and definitely
prefers to make a single broad stroke that covers the words?
I...

Repair for Conway 58 and Lamy Vista by
Nick Name
A couple fairly easy questions for the experts. I got a modern Conway
58 recently, and the tip of the clip is up off the cap. How can I
remove the clip to bend it down to the right angle?
Second question: My Lamy Vista had ink seep between the inner cap and
the outer cap. How can I disassemble...

Edson Opinions by
Paul G
Hi All,
I'd appreciate your opinion and comments on the Waterman
Edson...especially interested in the ink flow and how tolerant the nib
is to different writing positions.
Thanks,

Noodlers ink bottle--suggestions by
[email protected]
First off, let me say how happy I am that I've found Noodlers ink. I'm
not the ink color hound that many around here are--pretty much stick to
black and blue--but I do have a background in retail loss prevention
and have dealt with a great deal of check fraud and identity theft, so
I know what...

Trying to identify fill type and it needs repair. by
James E. Merritt
Hi everyone,
I have a blue Sheaffer with Gold trim. The cap screws on and has a white
dot. I am unsure as to how to fill it, but I know it needs repair. I do
not see any identifying marks, like a model number or something like that.
As I pull the end cap out, it has a fat plunger. I --- you pull...

Identifying my Wearever. by
James E. Merritt
Hi everyone,
I have a used Wearever I bought for $5.00 a few weekends ago. It is
black with a brushed metal cap and a small brushed metal piece on the
end. Also a very narrow brushed metal ring where the nib screws into
the body. The nib is kind of like a Parker 51, that is it is not
completely...

Pieces from the cap by
Nellie Paris
I have one of those heavy Laban cigar pens, and the nib is actually a
very nice smooth fine. But the cap lining (no inner cap) seems to be
disintegrating with pieces falling out. They get all over the nib,
and I have to shake them off. Thus I don't use the pen, which
otherwise writes beautifully...

moleskine notebooks by
Garglemonster
Came across this on p12 of Bruce Chatwin's "Songlines":
"Do you mind if I use my notebook?" I asked.
"Go ahead"
I pulled from my pocket a black oilcloth-covered notebook, its pages
held in place with an elastic band.
"Nice notebook," he said.

real waterproof ink - not by
Roger Taylor
Mike tells us in one article on waterproof inks, that
the ace of aces is Pilots G-2 gel roller pen, which
according to him, is totally waterproof. I immediately
went out and purchased one (in black ink), wrote a few
lines on a piece of paper, waited 10 minutes to dry,
then dunked the...
