Duplicate storage - a query to the group by Don Hearl
I have a question for this fine forum! How do you sort and maintain your stock of duplicates? Any details would be greatly appreciated, as I try to devise an efficient method for handling my worldwide duplicates (pre 1940). I'm looking at stockbooks and glassines. Thanks in advance, Don Hearl

UK Wildings. question by DBoyd001
While sorting through my piles of British Wilding I came across a 3d stamp that stood out because the paper is very thick, so thick I thought it might be two stamps stuck together at first. The paper of this stamp is so heavy it just comes short of being cardstock. Any information on this stamp...

Linns and Stamp Scissoring by Tracy Barber
Well, it appears that those who voiced their opinions about "scissoring" damaged stamps here are not alone. Linns, in the Reader's Opinions, was bombarded but many like-minded individuals who pretty much came to the conclusion - "we'll do what we like with our stamps". This, of course, includes...

Attn: Writers' Unit 30 members by Ada Prill
Please don't throw away your ballots. There are no contested races, but I have been told that Ken Trettin has agreed to be a write-in candidate for WU30 president. I do not know Mr. Trettin, but I from what I have heard of him, I consider him a far better choice than the official candidate, Peter...

UK stamp design by qwe
Took a quick look on the web, and can't find anything. Can anyone help me out with the design of regular UK stamps (the standard Queen's head design)? I'm trying to find out what font is used, exactly what colours are used, etc. Anything about the design, really.

Ebay Description of the Day by [email protected]
One thing that I find amusing in eBay descriptions is the seller who posts a picture upside down to dramatise,I suppose, the fact that it has an inverted watermark. .. A couple of tiems I have sent the seller a letter suggesting that if the stamp were displayed right side up, the watermark fault...

100 years ago... by Dave Joll
From the "100 years ago - from our archives" column in the Saturday, 5th July edition of the Otago Daily Times (of Dunedin, New Zealand): "The Premier must be the recipient of some strange, if not amusing, requests at times. In November last, he was written to by a local schoolboy who asked that...
